Welcome to the West Central Area Learning Center. Our school was established by the West Central Education District to meet the needs of a large variety of individuals. The education, safety, and security of all that attend are vital to us. We have students attending from our four cooperative school districts: Albany, Melrose, Paynesville, Sauk Centre and others. It is our intention that all students cooperate in making this an environment in which they can learn and grow
both intellectually and socially.
West Central Area Learning Center’s objective is to provide and maintain an alternative education plan for students to complete their education. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions concerning the ALC or your student.
While we primarily serve students from our member schools (listed above), As an area leaning center, we are open to enrollment from other districts as well. We often serve students from districts such as Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Osakis, Holdingford, St. Cloud and others.
